Radiohead – The King of Limbs
He comprado y escuchado el disco nuevo de Radiohead, “The King of Limbs“.
Después de escucharlo detenidamente, puedo opinar que es un disco excelentemente bien producido, cada detalle llega a tus oídos de una forma muy particular, sin embargo, siento que fué un disco “de paso” para algo más grande que puede venir pronto, o simplemente Radiohead cambió su rumbo para dedicarse a un estilo más plano y abstracto, que en lo personal espero que no sea así, ya que el disco “In Rainbows” ha sido a mi gusto de los mejores discos que han sacado.
Sonidos ambientales, ruidos de hiss y un ambient intrínseco caracterizan al disco a lo largo de su duración. Un buen disco sin duda alguna.
El formato digital del disco ya está a la venta a través de su página de internet. El costo en formato MP3 a 320Kbps tiene un costo de 9 dólares, mientras que la versión No comprimida en formato Wav tiene un costo de 14 dólares. Precios bastante accesibles como para apoyar al artista, y que esta música continúe!

Zeitgeist: Moving Forward
Esta es la tercera de una serie de películas-documental que en lo personal se me hacen bastante certeras a mi forma de pensamiento actual. Hasta ahora no he visto ésta ya que estoy bajando la versión en dvd doble capa para disfrutarla a la máxima calidad. McDonald’s used an image of Sir Paul McCartney in its Liverpool store, without any permission.
UK (telegraph.co.uk) – The singer, who has been a vocal advocate of vegetarianism for 30 years was said to be furious after discovering pictures of the Beatles had been placed prominently in a restaurant in his home town.
His image appeared alongside former band mates John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.
Geoff Baker, a spokesman for Sir Paul said: “What sort of morons do McDonald’s think Beatles’ fans are.
“It’s ridiculous and insulting to use images to peddle hamburgers. Fans should boycott Mcdonald’s, and not just in Liverpool.”
Sir Paul is a staunch supporter of animal rights, president of the Vegetarian Society of Great Britain and an ambassador for People for the Ethical treatment of Animals (PETA). His late wife Linda had her own range of vegetarian foods.
A PETA spokeswoman said: “He became a vegetarian after watching lambs play in a field outside his home and surely would not want anyone to use his likeness to help promote meat”.
“We hope anyone who sees his picture on the wall will be reminded that he’s a vegetarian and skip the Big Mac for a veggie burger.”
A McDonald’s spokeswoman said the pictures were to “acknowledge the outstanding contribution the Beatles made to both local and global culture.”
